The 5051 or 7051 uses ‘calibrated’ values for capacitance and inductance. These values are present on the calibrator’s certificate or in the 7051/5051 Calibrator Control App. To utilise these values in EasyCal, a ‘setup only’ test is required prior to the device under test reading is entered
The test above sets the calibrator to output 1uF. This test will not be recorded on the certificate and the output will remain on for the subsequent test.
The next test created as an unspecified ‘standard or device’ test. The required value entered is the calibrated value.
