Installation

In order to install EasyCal on to a computer running Windows 8, 10 or 11, the user must be logged on as ‘Administrator’ or as a user with administrator rights. Once Installed, EasyCal is available for use by any user.

  • Insert the EasyCal USB drive, select ‘install’ from the on-screen menu.

(If the auto-play menu does not appear. Click on the Desktop’s Start button. Select Run… and Browse to find the ‘AutoPlay’ on your CD drive.)

  • The user is asked to specify in which folder to install EasyCal in. It is highly recommended that the default folder is used unless there are special reasons for doing otherwise.
Note:- Specifying a different folder will affect future installations of upgrade releases and service packs
  • When the installation is finished you will be asked to restart your computer. The first task with a new installation is to input the EasyCal system information – see Error! Reference source not found. section
  • System Setup.

To run any of the programs, click on Start, then navigate to ProgramsEasyCal and the list of programs will appear. Click on the appropriate program to start execution.

Desktop Icons are not set up automatically by the install process, but may be created in the normal way by navigating to the required program as above, right clicking the mouse and then navigating to Send To and selecting Desktop (create shortcut)
